“Veronica and Sergio are two “PerfectlyWeird” souls who somehow found each other in a world full of insanity and chaos. Our love story is simple, really. We met at work, became friends, realized that we were actually Best Friends, and ultimately fell in love with one another!
We always knew we wanted a destination wedding, and the location had to be perfect. We wanted to get married with water surrounding us and with our loved ones at our side, especially our four weird children!
When we came across El Cid (Riviera Maya), there was something about it that just pulled us in online. There were other destinations we were considering, but El Cid… it had something that we just kept going back to.
We decided to take a spontaneous last-minute trip over a weekend, and El Cid was at the very top of the list.
Once we set foot inside…. There are no words to describe the overwhelming feeling of joy, excitement, relaxation, and overall the feeling of “Home”. It’s something that to this day I simply can’t explain. You have to live it yourself!
From that moment forward, we knew THIS was where we wanted to say our “I Do’s” to each other.
With the help of amazing staff like “Gricel” (BEST Wedding Coordinator) and Jairo (Butler), our wedding was more magical than we could have ever expected!” – Sergio and Veronica
